Translate your Shopify store into French

Publish French in your store, set language and market rules, and review translated content and SEO before publication.

In practice

Your voice in each language

Describe the store once. Choose formal or informal address, US or UK English and notes per language. Add separate SEO and translation instructions globally or by resource type.

Use the words your customers use

Selling in Germany and Switzerland? Even when shoppers speak the same language, they may use different words for the same product. Give Ranklate the terms you prefer for each language or market. It uses them where they make sense.

Keep the whole product in context

Ranklate reads a resource’s fields together so titles, descriptions and option values stay coherent. Improve translation refines existing translations, including manual work or text from another tool. Checks flag changes to HTML, Liquid, placeholders, tags and links.

Choose what goes live

Keep your translations as drafts to read later, or let Ranklate publish those that pass its checks. It looks for missed translations, broken formatting and words that don’t follow your glossary. If one field fails, the whole item stays in draft. Published translations live in Shopify, at the web address for each language.
